ULLI FELLOWS
The fellowship supports graduate and post-graduate scholars with original research or applied research projects centered on accumulating Black cultural history. This program will support community-based research and engagement methodologies; cultural heritage design and development strategies; collective memory, memorial, and commemoration practices, among other things.
The ULLI Fellows was established at the start of 2023 as a critical component of ULLI’s commitment to enhancing practical applications in the field of cultural heritage preservation in historically Black neighborhoods.
ULLI’s first fellowship begins this month and features one of the Graduate School of Design graduates from Harvard who will work with ULLI in the completion of her project, “Conserving Intangible Cultural Heritage - A Field Guide.”
